DS42 Oak Dark in the Stockholm archipelago.

Perched on a rocky outcrop in the Stockholm archipelago, Villa Vy was designed as a quiet retreat where architecture and landscape become inseparable. Surrounded by pine forests, weathered granite and the shifting light reflected by the sea, the house embraces a restrained palette of natural materials. Pale spruce, natural stone, lime plaster and linen create a calm and enduring atmosphere throughout the interior. Large openings frame the landscape and allow the changing seasons to become part of everyday life. Within this setting, the DS42 step ladder in Oak Dark becomes a natural extension of the architecture itself.
